Is Triton a franchise and how long has it been in business?
Triton is not a franchise we are solely a Dealer/Distributor Program. There are no upfront or royalty fees. Triton is a family owned and operated company, which was started originally in 1984 as a "High end" furniture manufacturer. Selling to retailers like "Robb & Stucky" in all 50 states. Too much travel and time away from home was reason enough for the DeGraaf family to make the transition into local garage cabinet manufacturing in 1998. Dealerships are now available in outlying areas of Arizona, and also across the country as well as in Canada.
Why should I be a Triton Dealer?

We are not a franchise so don’t worry about huge upfront fees and royalty fees, we aren’t here to take your money we are here to help you make money. Most of all, our product sells itself, you can see you are going to get a quality product that is going to withstand the wear and tear of normal day living.
What Type of material does Triton use?
We use a ¾” thick thermo-fused material rather then thinner 5/8” or ½” low grade one-sided materials often used by competitors to save money. Triton is a quality manufacturer of garage cabinets and will only build using the strongest materials. When you give a lifetime warranty, you need to build it right the first time.
What does Thermo-fused melamine mean?
“Thermo” (Heat), “Fused” (applied). The Wood Grained papers are applied with glue activated by heat under pressure. Both sides need to have the application to keep the forces equal, which in turn, prevents warping. The thermo process gives the paper a much harder finish, which resists scratches, and helps the product repel water and moisture.
Cheaper melamine’s are “Cold Rolled”, which means the wood grained paper is applied with regular white glue and then pressed until dry in huge presses. Usually you will only find Cold Rolled to have the paper on one side while the other side remains raw particleboard, exposed to the elements. Cold rolled can lift easily if exposed to water.
What is the big deal about concealed hinges?
Obviously concealed hinges look a lot nicer because you can't see them. But, the real benefit is that fact we don't need "face frames" to mount exterior hinges. These face frames can use up to 3" on each side of the cabinet wasting valuable storage space. The adjustable hinge allows us to bring door gap together eliminating the need for a center post or an astrical.
What is Edge Banding? And what makes ours different?
This is a process that "seals" the edges of the cabinets and doors protecting them from moisture should you hose out your garage floor. Our competitors use the Edge Banding process that is applied with machinery at high temperature to bond. The problem with this application is the glue can be reactivated by our hot summers and the banding can come off. Other companies use a cheap "T" molding that easily falls off over time. The "T" molding can allow moisture into the end grain of the doors causing them to swell and deteriorate.
We are different because we use a state-of-the-art machine that combines the technology of another machine which applies a polyurethane glue that is melted for application, but as it cools it permanently adheres to the edge and CAN NOT be reactivated by heat! We are the only company in Arizona that has stepped up to pay for this better equipment to insure your edgebanding will not fall off in the heat of the summer. This machine was purchased in 2006 at a cost of over $250,000.
How long does it take to install?
Although most installs will take a day to complete, we will take as much time as necessary to insure your satisfaction.
Why should we buy from Triton?
Not only do we stand behind our work, but you will also have a Triton experience from the time you make your phone call for a consultation to the time of installation. While cabinet companies come and go, our company has been around since 1984. While other companies make their installers use their own vehicles, all of our installers are issued company vans that are maintained by the company ensuring you that when we leave you won’t have to worry about oil stains on your driveway. But most of all, we know the average homeowner moves about every 4 to 5 years, we want you back to do your next home!
What is the difference between the “Deluxe” and “Sterling" cabinets?
Besides looking fabulous! They both have a one-inch shelf for extra support, this eliminates bulky wood stiffeners that can use up valuable storage space. Our Sterling cabinets come equipped with a flush mounted full length aluminum extrusion on our drawers and doors, not only allowing you to open the door with ease, but the soft rounded edges protect the door of your cabinet, as well as your car. Our Deluxe Cabinets come equipped with a brushed stainless handle on doors and drawers.
